It is settled science that over the last two centuries, the burning of fossil fuels is the primary cause of global warming. However, the coal and petroleum industries and their political allies have gone to great lengths to instill doubt about this in the American public.
Disbelieving or doubting climate change conveniently allows us to continue on with "business as usual" - our energy intensive life styles. But thoughtful people are increasingly realizing that taking this path is both unjust and unsustainable.
